March is Women’s History Month – so what better time to explore the positive impact women leaders have on a company? As a women-owned business, we have seen first hand the impact a gentle approach has. And how successful a different approach to business and leadership is, especially with the business landscape changing constantly. But it It is hard to sum up all the ways women have a positive impact on business – so below we’ve shared three of our top ones:

Employees

Employees are the cornerstone of any successful business. Female leadership understands, and also know how important prioritizing them is. “Women business leaders are likelier than men to add certain employee benefits out of a feeling of ethical responsibility, or due to the needs highlighted by COVID.” (csrwire.com). Benefits is just one example though – there is also prioritizing time off, ensuring an ethical workplace, focusing on inclusivity and diversity and more.

Culture

Having a strong, supportive company culture is necessary to having a successful business. The right culture for your company can be the difference between growth and flexibility or failure. Women leadership have shown over and over their ability to create and maintain a positive, impactful company culture. From their focus on employees to supplying the tools needed. Women leaders take a holistic approach to business that allows them to push culture forward to meet the changing demands of business.

Projects

Successful projects make a successful business. And female leadership make successful projects. Why? Because they take a people first approach. A successful project is successful because people make it so – you have to make sure you include all stakeholders in the process. They also take into account the realities of other tasks, timelines and life that happen throughout a project. Being proactive in overcoming any issues is what helps set successful projects apart.

The reality is that women leaders make a positive impact on companies every single day. And not just leadership – any female employee has a great impact. We bring a different perspective, different approach and ideas. We help bring the diversity that is needed for a business to succeed. So this month (but really every month), let’s celebrate the feminine leadership in our lives and our company.
