It doesn’t matter if you are a small business, cooperation, or even a state government; there is always a future project that needs to be managed. Right now a majority of State governments are working tirelessly on Vital Records projects in association with the National Association of Public Health Statistics and Information systems (NAPHSIS). One of the Organization’s goals is to assist states with improving the quality and timeliness for their vital events reporting.

In many states there is currently a need to replace or update the existing systems for birth and death records. By implementing efficient and modernized electronic systems states will achieve faster, more accurate and more efficient registration and reporting processes. These are not small Projects!

Managing a project is one of the most important things an organization must do. Unfortunately, it’s also unpredictable, stressful, and extremely demanding. It doesn’t matter if the project lasts weeks, months, years, or longer; at some point unexpected challenges arise and if that project doesn’t have proper planning it could end up failing.

Fortunately there are simple steps that can be taken in order to ensure failure doesn’t happen to you. Last year, QuantumMark presented a Project Management Training at the NAPHSIS annual meeting and handed out an informative workbook detailing best practices for project management. These workbooks detail such things as defining objectives, choosing the correct staff, and much more. Best of all, we have a limited number of workbooks and the accompanying one-page Toolkit still available.  Contact us today if you would like to receive a copy of our 2015 NAPHSIS Project Management Workbook and Toolkit.

Finally, don’t forget the 2016 NAPHSIS conference is fast approaching. QuantumMark will be hosting a booth again this year, as well the as presentation of a poster, and we look forward to seeing all of you there!
