With June and the NAPHSIS Annual Meeting quickly approaching, we thought we’d highlight a few of the sessions offered this year.

On Sunday, the kick-off day, this year’s Innovations Session will focus on Challenges and Successes from States and Partners. QuantumMark is pleased to be presenting our findings on timely death reporting during the Innovations Session. Then on Monday, a few of the events that caught our eye are the eHealth Plenary: National Electronic Health Records Efforts; HIE Pilot in California, as well as the Statistic Plenary: Life Expectancy by Census Tract Project – this session will highlight Oregon’s Death with Dignity program. Tuesday, the Security Plenary: Biometric ID and Birth/Death Certificates; Secret Service and ID Theft, will be a session of interest, and then on Tuesday afternoon we will enjoy review and dialogue with this years’ poster presenters. Finally, on Wednesday, we are particularly looking forward to the Awards Breakfast followed by the Fraudulent Document Training session, as well as The Future of Security and the NAPHSIS/NCHS Census Tract Life Expectancy Project.

These are just a few of the many valuable sessions and trainings offered at NAPHSIS Annual Meeting, held in Kansas City this year, June 12-15. For more information, visit NAPHSIS.org and keep an eye out on our Blog and Facebook page for more information.
