Welcome 2017

In a year with so many changes around the world, QuantumMark was blessed with many opportunities in 2016. We would like to thank everyone that was a part of such an important year for our Company. As is tradition, here is a look back on our favorite moments from 2016.

Australia Trade Mission
Through QuantumMark’s Emerging Small Business certification, we were invited to apply to be part of Governor Sandoval’s Trade Mission to Australia. Our application was accepted and Kim West, Director of Business Development, traveled with the Governor, a group of State officials and other industry leaders for a 2-week trip to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, Australia. The trip was insightful and informative as we were able to meet with numerous government and private organizations to collaborate on needs, issues and possible solutions on topics of mutual interest. A huge shout-out to the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) for their careful attention to detail in the planning and execution of this multi-faceted trip.

Nevada State Governor’s Conference
Attending the Governor’s Conference each year is one of the ways QuantumMark stays abreast of current events, industry excellence and notable business enterprises going on in our great State. This year’s speakers included Adam Kramer, EVP of Strategy and Kristi Overgaard, EVP of Awesomeness at Switch. A Business Pitch Competition was held and brought to the stage business ideas of truly exceptional quality.

NAPHSIS
Again we were honored to attend the NAPHSIS Annual Conference. Our corporate membership in this outstanding organization allows QuantumMark to connect with State Vital Records and Vital Statistics representatives all over the country and the organizations that support them, like the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and National Centers for Health Statistics (NCHS). A fact you may not know about QuantumMark is that we are nationally known for our work in Vital Records and Vital Statistics. Our partnership with NAPHSIS is a vital part of our success in this industry. Hosting a booth and connecting with others at the NAPHSIS Annual Meeting is an event we look forward to each year with great anticipation

Nevada State Medical Association (NSMA)
Another amazing conference we attend is the NSMA Annual Meeting which celebrates and enhances physicians and medical practices in Nevada. QuantumMark’s work with medical practices to provide billing and coding services, audits, assessments and special projects is a rewarding part of our business. Our connection with NSMA and hosting a booth at their Annual Meeting allows us to connect at personal levels with key individuals making important decisions for the State’s medical concerns. We especially appreciate Catherine O’Mara, NSMA Executive Director, for the strong leadership she provides for our State.

Global Leadership Summit (GLS)
The GLS is a highpoint for QuantumMark. Several of our company attend this 2-day conference each year to hear from business leaders across the world on topics that range from Emotional Intelligence (Dr. Travis Bradberry) to Disciplines of (Business) Execution (Chris McChesney) as well as a host of other nationally acclaimed leaders. There’s no substitute for staying current on what’s going on in the world of business. We look to this conference to help keep QuantumMark sharp, focused and diligent for all our engagements.

Memberships in such organizations as the Professional Saleswomen of Nevada (PSN), Northern Nevada Development Authority (NNDA), and Western Manufacturing Association (WMA) provided us with business connections as well as new relationships. These programs keep us informed and up to date with the changes in our industries and provide a multitude of opportunities for growth and expansion. The connections made with key leaders like Alice Heiman and Ron Hooper help keep us sharp. We look forward to expanding these and other relationships in 2017.

The last year has been a stellar one for QuantumMark and we anticipate great things to come in 2017. It is our hope and wish that you are also facing the New Year with positive energy and many new opportunities.
