It’s hard to believe that 2015 is just a few days away. As we look back we can say that it’s been extremely busy and successful year. We have worked with four different states, launched a new services offering, expanded services into the marijuana industry and attended two important conferences. As we say goodbye to 2014 and welcome the New Year, the staff at QuantumMark would like to say thank you to our wonderful clients and the many new friends we have made this year.

Alaska

We once again worked with the State of Alaska and their Bureau of Vital Statistics. This year we provided project oversight for their Electronic Fetal Death, MMR, ITOP and Divorce implementations. And our team continues to work with them on the marriage implementation.

Arkansas

QuantumMark completed two rounds of the Electronic Registration of Arkansas Vital Events (ERAVE) training for the State of Arkansas both in the state’s Infant Hearing Program (IHP) and Birth Registration. After finishing our first set of training on the IHP system early in 2014, QuantumMark was rehired by the Arkansas Department of Health to train both clinics and Primary Care Physicians on the new system. We successfully completed the second round of training at the end of June.

Nevada

This year we continued to work with Nevada’s Department of Public and Behavioral Health with various important aspects of the state’s new Medical Marijuana Program. Our team assisted the State throughout their implementation process of this new program including with drafting regulations, developing work programs, creating the overall implementation plan, drafting the application and the evaluation processes and procedures, and defining system requirements.

South Carolina

This year we were engaged by the State of South Carolina to assist with their Vital Records and Statistics Integrated Information System (VRSIIS) Project. We are tasked with professional consulting services to document current processes, system requirements and recommendations for functional/process improvements. QuantumMark will assist the Department of Health and Environmental Control in laying the foundation for procuring a new vital records system that best meets the long-term needs of the State.

Revenue Retrieval Services

QuantumMark launched of a new line of services targeted for medical practices. Our Medical Revenue Retrieval service has been well received and we are starting to help our new clients work towards collecting on aging and unpaid claims.

Conferences

Attended two insightful and important conferences this past year. For the sixth year QuantumMark was an exhibitor at National Association for Public Health Statistics and Information Systems (NAPHSIS) Annual Meeting. In addition to our booth this year we had the distinct honor of being selected to display a poster at the Innovations Session during the event. We were excited to see many familiar faces at the show as well as make some wonderful new friend in the Vital Records world.

This year we also attended our very first Marijuana Business Conference & Expo in Las Vegas. This show was jam packed with interesting breakout sessions and intriguing business people who are all committed to the marijuana business industry.
